Dan Telvock is a native of Ithaca, NY, and he has been a journalist since 1998. He started his career in radio journalism as a news anchor in 1998. He also did a little bit of television broadcasting and interned at Channel 5 in Syracuse. He has won numerous investigative reporting awards, including three first-place Virginia Press Association awards and a "Best in Show" award.
He has lived in Virginia since 1999. When he is not reporting and writing, Dan is watching the Dallas Cowboys or Atlanta Braves, restoring vintage bicycles, playing his bass guitar or painting.
