Shelley Kaufman-Young, Neighbor

Shelley Young grew up in northern Ohio. Her dad taught me to love writing.  Her mom taught me to love reading. She moved to Virginia a while back to escape the long winters and still loves it through all the changes it's endured. Shelley has taught karate, worked in law firms, submitted art work for shows at Woodlawn Plantation, raised two girls, volunteered at animal rescue shelters and read tons of books as well as wrote and created greeting cards for friends and family. She is very excited to be writing for Patch.com.
