The Occoquan Crafts Show In Pictures
Fall version of crafts show satisfies vendors and visitors alike
Though the calendar said September it felt a lot more like mid-summer on Saturday at the 2010 Occoquan Craft Show. Temperature returned to more seasonal levels on Sunday but what did not change from the day before were the overflowing crowds. An estimate 60,000 people descended into downtown Occoquan over the weekend to partake in crafts, art, food and music. More than two hundred vendors came from up and down the east coast to serve up paintings, jewelry, household accents, various ethnic cuisines and plenty of other goods that defy easy categorization.
