The Washington Redskins fell to the Seattle Seahawks 24-14 Sunday in a disappointing loss for a team on the rise. Despite the loss, the team clearly has a solid foundation for the future. After dominating the first quarter and storming to a 14-0 lead, Robert Griffin III hurt and already injured and braced knee. He continued, a move criticized by some, but did not finish the game. Seattle nearly evened the score by halftime at 14-13. Neither team could muster a score in the third quarter, but the Seahawks pushed through with another 11 points in the fourth quarter, while shutting down the Redskins for the win.
