The Guardians of Ga’Hoole Swoops Onto the Big Screen

Kids love books in series, and Hollywood has caught on. This weekend Warner Brothers will release in 3D animation the movie version of Kathryn Lasky's The Guardians of Ga'Hoole.  The film, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, is based on the first three books in the 15 book series about Soren, Gylfie, Twilight and Digger, four owls who've joined forces to fight a fierce enemy.  Whenever the movie version of a book is released, library shelves are emptied of the title.
