Man Forces Way into Home on Wiley Drive in Lorton; Woman Unhurt
The incident occurred late Saturday night in Lorton.
A Lorton woman is unhurt after reporting that a man forced his way into her home Saturday night and stole cash and other items. At around 11 p.m., the 35-year-old victim was alone watching television in her home in the 7600 block of Wiley Drive, when there was a knock at the door. She answered, and the suspect allegedly pushed his way in. The victim reportedly left the home and called police. The suspect is described as a white male wearing dark clothing and gloves, in his late 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, with blue eyes. The incident is under investigation. It is always dangerous to open your door to a knock anytime, day or night without looking to see who it is and if you can identify him/her as someone you had requested to come to your home.
