A 53-year-old man was struck in the head by another man at a business in the 9400 block of Lorton Market Street on the evening of Saturday, April 13. At around 9:50 p.m., the victim was confronted by another man, words were exchanged, and the suspect struck the victim in the head. The victim was not seriously injured and the suspect was escorted from the scene. The indicent was documented in the Fairfax County daily incident report. There was no word of an arrest in the case. A 31-year-old woman was assaulted while walking in Lorton on Thursday morning. The victim was walking in the area of Timarand Court and Timarand Drive at around 10:45 a.m. when an unknown man approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately. The victim was not injured and the suspect fled and was not found. The suspect is a white male in his 30s, between five-foot-two and five-foot-six, and wore a tan T-shirt, black pants and a baseball cap. Three Lorton men have been arrested for allegedly hitting a 19-year-old man last week in Hagel Circle. Davon Fredericks, 26, Dasean Manns, 19 and Taliek Smith, 21, were charged with assault by mob and disorderly conduct for allegedly beating the victim, who was standing near his car in the 9600 block of Hagel Circle at around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 8. The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was hit several times and the suspects fled the scene on foot. Manns was also charged with possession of marijuana.
