Here's the weekly arrest report.
A 20-year-old Lortoner living in the 8100 block of American Holly Road was arrested for assaulting a family member and obstruction of justice with threats of force on May 3, 2013. The following list of arrests in the Lorton and Fairfax Station-areas has been provided by the Fairfax County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction: Look at the clock. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon
Police recovered a car stolen in Lorton on Friday and apprehended a 47-year-old Woodbridge man, who was found hiding in nearby woods. At around 2:40 p.m., the victim, a 36-year-old Lorton male, left the motor running in his car and walked into a convenience store in the 9800 block of Gunston Road. A suspect then got into the victim's car and drove away. The car was located a short distance away, and Leroy Crosby, 47, of Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public. Crosby was found with the help of a police helicopter and a K-9 team. The case is under investigation.

It was a busy week for Fairfax County Police.
Fairfax County Police last week determined that a series of recent assaults in Lorton may be the work of a 'copycat groper'. In the most recent incident in Lorton, a 31-year-old woman was approached from behind at around 10:45 a.m. April 10, while walking near Timarand Court and Timarand Drive. The suspect touched the victim inappropriately, then fled and was not located by officers. The victim was not injured. Captain Jim Baumstark and First Lieutenant William Jacoby discussed crime in the Franconia District during Wednesday night's CAC meeting.
While discussing crime in the Kingstowne and Franconia area Wednesday night at the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting, Captain Jim Baumstark — Franconia District Police Station commander — explained that recent assaults in Lorton may be the work of a possible "copycat serial groper." Like the suspect(s) in the Springfield assaults, the suspect in the multiple assaults in Lorton has not been apprehended. The Springfield area has seen a string of 24 unsolved assaults by a serial groper or possibly two suspects that began in September. The latest took place in late March in Kingstowne. No one was arrested in the incident.
A 53-year-old man was struck in the head by another man at a business in the 9400 block of Lorton Market Street on the evening of Saturday, April 13. At around 9:50 p.m., the victim was confronted by another man, words were exchanged, and the suspect struck the victim in the head. The victim was not seriously injured and the suspect was escorted from the scene. The indicent was documented in the Fairfax County daily incident report. There was no word of an arrest in the case. The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department in the most recent daily reports released March 29. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
On the above map, the addresses are block numbers, not specific home or business addresses. The following items are from the recent daily activity report from the Franconia Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department. DWI (blue on map), 12:45 a.m., March 28, 6300 block of Amherst Avenue, Officers and Fire/Rescue Department personnel responded for a disorderly conduct and possible fire. No fire or health hazard was found. Mehret Gebrehiwet, 36, of Lorton, was located nearby. She was charged with DWI and false summoning of emergency services.
