Suspect Arrested for Sub Shop Explosion

A 25-year-old man is in custody for allegedly igniting an incendiary device at the Sub Shop in Lorton last week. Horace Thompson, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested by Washington Metropolitan Police on Feb. 14, after his release from the Washington Burn Center. He was arrested on a "Fugitive from Justice" warrant, and will be transferred to Fairfax County, where he will be served with warrants for arson of an occupied building and aggravated malicious wounding.
