UPDATE: Driver Identified in Fatal Crash Tuesday on Southbound I-95
Crash occurred near the exit to the Fairfax County Parkway.
UPDATE: Wednesday, 5:35 p.m.: Virginia State Police Wednesday afternoon identified the driver of the mini-van who died Tuesday in an early morning crash on southbound Interstate 95 near the Fairfax County Parkway exit. The deceased is Ellen S. Linder, 65, of Kensington, Md. The Maryland woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Fairfax County. A flatbed truck was stopped for traffic, preparing to take the exit ramp onto Route 286 south, when it was rear-ended by Linder's 2007 Kia Sedona. Linder died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash. I think he may have been referring to the accident that DID occur inside the express lanes, with a drunk driver going southbound in the north bound lanes, No need to be rude...even if he did spell it wrong, you don't have to try and embarrass him, it makes you look like a bully!!
