After Lorton Man's Car Gets Rear-Ended, Culprit Leads Police on High-Speed Chase

Virginia State Police troopers arrested Juan Carlos Gudiel, of Centreville, as he was fleeing down Stone Road.

A Centreville man faces multiple charges after he tailgated and struck a Lorton driver twice on the Fairfax County Parkway, then sped away from the state troopers who tried to arrest him, police said.  Juan Carlos Gudiel, 25, first rear-ended the 2003 Honda with his 2000 Ford Explorer early Sunday, Fairfax County Police said. He then sped away—but not before the victim, a 24-year-old Lorton man, copied the license plate number and called 911.  Virginia State Police chased Gudiel down I-66, and then onto Lee Highway. He reportedly ran a red light as he turned onto Stone Road.
