Winter Wonderland Workshop, DMV2Go, Gift Wrapping, and More Events this Week

Friday is the last day of classes before Fairfax County Public School students go on winter break. Students return on January 3.

Experiment with fake snow in awinter wonderland workshop at the Centreville Regional Library this week. The event is at 3 p.m. Monday at 14200 Saint Germaine Drive in Centreville. Register Online.

Want to avoid long lines? The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles’ DMV 2Go customer service van will roll into the Fairfax County Government Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at 12000 Government Center Parkway.

Fairfax County Public School students will be wrapping gifts at the Fair Oaks Mall this week. Students from at Robinson Secondary School and others will be participating. The DECA club focuses on marketing, business, and service. Funds from the gift wrapping service go toward club activities. Students will be wrapping gifts Thursday and Friday during mall hours on the lower level of the mall on 11750 Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax.

Experience Christmas in Bethlehem on Friday. The Church of the Apostles will host an interactive experience with Jesus’ story. The event is at 7 p.m. Friday at the Sherwood Community Center on 3740 Old Lee Highway in Fairfax. Admission is free.

The Workhouse Arts Center is presenting a Christmas Concert: O Holy Night Friday and Saturday. The performances are at 7:30 at the center at 9601 Ox Road. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for youth.
