Lorton Library Seeks Volunteers

Library seeks book group, English conversation group leaders.

Fairfax County issued the following call for volunteers: 

The Lorton Library seeks a volunteer book group leader as well as volunteers to lead English conversation groups.

The newly formed book discussion group will meet monthly at Lorton Library, 9520 Richmond Highway Lorton, Va., preferably on a weekday morning, although the exact schedule will depend on the group. The leader will be responsible for facilitating discussion at the meetings and serving as the point of contact for library staff. For more information contact Gloria Cramer, 703-339-1482.

English conversation group leaders will help people improve their English language skills. They must 18 years or older and should be outgoing, friendly and enjoy talking with new people. Groups usually meet for one hour once a week. Schedule is flexible depending upon the availability of the volunteer.
