VOTE NOW: It's Your Last Chance To Vote Mason Neck As Best Park in America
Your vote counts double on Sunday (It means $100,000 for the park that gets first place)
Mason Neck State Park is in second place in Coca-Cola's annual "Live Positively - Best Park in America" contest, and the contest ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
Veterans Memorial Park in Moore, Ok. is in first place with 399,766 votes. Mason Neck has 364,647 votes as of Saturday, July 13.
Mason Neck, which sits on hundreds of wooded acres along the Potomac River, is a habitat for eagles and other migrating and non-migrating birds.
Voting takes place online, and the top three vote getters receive $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000.
