Stallions Football Plays at West Springfield Friday Night
Are you ready for Friday Night Lights in Springfield?
The 3-1 South County Stallions will battle the West Springfield Spartans in Springfield on Friday night. BTW - It's the homecoming game for the Spartans, so tensions will be high.
Game time is 7:30 p.m.
South County stumbled in game three against Chantilly, but have otherwise had a stellar season. They beat Lee High School 53-9 on Sept. 27, and it was the third game this season that the Stallions scored more than 50 points.
The South County Season So Far...
Game 1: Stallions defeat Mount Vernon 56-7
Game 2: Stallions defeat Hayfield 56-21
Game 3: Chantilly defeats the Stallions 42-34
Game 4: Stallions defeat Lee 53-9
West Springfield is just coming back from a 63-0 loss to Centerville on Sept. 27. On Sept. 20, they edged out Lee High School in Overtime 28-21; on Sept. 20 they beat Herndon 23-21 and lost the season opener to Edison 26-20.
