South County Softball Enters District Tournament with Near-Perfect Record

The Stallions were 17-1 this season.

The South County High School varsity softball team is entering this year's Patriot District Tournament on top. With a 17-1 record, the Stallions will play their first tournament game at home Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Should they move on, the Stallions will play Friday in the District Semifinals, followed Monday by the District finals. 

There is one senior on the Stallions roster this season, so expect more results from this team next season.

The team will also play in the regional playoffs (all games begin at 7 p.m.): 

  • Friday, May 24, first round at South County High School
  • Wednesday, May 29, 2nd Round at Falls Church High School
  • Friday, May 31: Regional Finals at Falls Church High School
