Burks helped take the Stallions to the state championship last year, and his impressive record on the field made him an invaluable team player.

At 6-foot-4, the 195 pound Burks ended the season with 11 sacks, 22 tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles and 128 total tackles. The Stallions lost the state championship game to Pheobus 20-10.
