On Sunday, disc golf players from throughout the metropolitan area converged on Pohick Bay Regional Park for the May Day tournament. Competitors were undeterred by damp conditions as they challenged a course that had recently undergone a renovation. When it was all said and done the winners in the three classes were:
Pro Open Division: Chris Mangus from Virginia Beach
Pro Grand Master Division: Tom Coffin
Amateur Division: Ron Smith
