Bullpen and Timely Hitting Lead Nats to Victory

Potomac will finish off series with Frederick today at 11

The Potomac Nationals jumped out to an early 4-0 lead and held on the rest of the way to beat the home-standing Frederick Keys last night, 6-2.

The Nats plated six without benefit of a big hit. Destin Hood had three hits, including two doubles that drove home two, but those were the only extra-base hits. Eury Perez and Jeff Kobernus both had a pair of singles.

The bullpen shined for Potomac as they pitched five-and-a-third scoreless innings, with Rafael Martin earning the victory.
