National History Day took place on February 24 and as a result of their performance at the event there will be nine students from LSESS advancing to regional competition.
Students presented via exhibits, documentaries, performances and websites. The presentations were judged on historical quality, balanced research, and clarity of presentation. This year’s theme was “Debate and Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, and Consequences.” Students presented arguments from both sides of historical debates in their projects.
