South County High School Welcomes Travis Hess as New Varsity Basketball Coach

How far will he take the Stallions?

South County High School has a new varsity basketball coach. Travis Hess, the former head coach the Langley Saxons, comes to Stallion territory with an impressive 18-3 record.

Hess, who taught math at Langley for eight years, led Langley to four consecutive district championships and three regional final four appearances. He has been awarded the Patriot District Coach of the Year honor five times.

Hess received his degree in mathematics from Bloomsburg University and his Masters in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. He has taught probability and statistics, algebra 1 and 2 and trigonometry.
