South County Graduation Rate At 96.3%

South County Secondary School has a graduation rate of 96.3%, according to the 2011 Cohort Report released by Fairfax County Public Schools. That number is about five percent above the FCPS average, which is 91.4 percent. Virginia's average graduation rate is 86.6%.

According to the chart, South County's dropout rate is 2.5%. 

Hayfield High School has a graduation rate of 93.7% and a 3.9% dropout rate. The highest dropout rate in Fairfax County is 15.83% at Stuart High School.
