A Special First Friday Event- Open to the Public!
In conjunction with the Urban Decay II exhibition, the Workhouse is pleased to present a special first Friday presentation by featured Urban Decay Artist Gregg Deal.

Gregg Deal presents his alternative means to creating, producing, marketing, and selling art work in a digital age. Gregg will share his own experience in developing his work, style and voice in mediums that are out of the norm of traditional arts, but cutting edge to contemporary art trends. Schooled in traditional oil painting and drawing sprinkled with graphic design Gregg grew as an artist and businessman only to see his world collapse along with the economy but has sense found a way to use his artistic talents and business knowledge to create a successful online art business at a young age.

As a featured artist in Urban Decay II in June, Gregg has made himself available to discuss his many triumphs and let downs in his art career, how he draws inspiration from graffiti and urban art, how he finds peace and connection with his Native American heritage without succumbing to a fixed style, all while keeping his family in tow. Come join us for what is sure to be an informative and inspirational event!

*The event itself is FREE but due to catering and limited seating a reservation is required and must be done by MAY 30th. You may add a light dinner option for $5 a plate at time of registration. There will also be a cash only bar selling $2 beverages (wine, beer, soda) during the event.
