Back to School: The Lorton Community Action Center is Accepting Online Donations
You could help a Lorton family in need.
The Lorton Community Action Center's back to school drive will provide school supplies for more than 600 Lorton elementary school students.
"If you think of the average cost of a backpack full of school supplies you're looking at $50 per backpack," said LCAC Executive Director Linda Patterson. "For a family not having that expense means they're able to pay for a tank of gas or a utility bill."
"Adopt" a Lorton child or children and help their family get off to the right start this school year.
