The building contains offices, a cafeteria and a library. The roof was completely destroyed and the building sustained considerable water damage (three million gallons of water were reportedly used to fight the fire). There are no estimates of the cost of the damage.

"We’re going to have to total the building," Leo Filipowicz, DAU, director of operations support group, told the Eagle. "The structure is still very viable, but the interior will have to be replaced due to the water damage."
