Romney Dominates at Lorton Polling Places on Super Tuesday

Romney sweeps area with 563 votes.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney swept all of Lorton's precincts in Virginia's Super Tuesday primary.

Only 875 voters out of 19,166 registered Lorton voters (4.5 percent) took to the polls, and the former Massachussets Governor outpaced opponent Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) 563 votes to 312.

were the only candidates on the ballot in Virginia. About 65 percent of Fairfax County voters favored Romney.
