"Of the 352,234 taxable parcels in the county, 276,121 had some value change," according to Fairfax County

That's nice! Fairfax County has raised my tax every year in the past 5 years, at least!!! It is not a tax on the actual worth of either the land or the residence, it is a way of making money for the county to pay bigger wages to the supervisors!!!!!!! I'm retired - been retired for over 10 years now. WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM TO PAY FOR THE COUNTY'S MONEY GRUBBING? THE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE COUNTY - WHETHER THEY CAN AFFORD IT OR NOT!!!!!
