The suspect in yesterday's robbery of the SunTrust Bank at 9400 Richmond Highway has been identified as William J. Kistler, 51, of no fixed address.
At 12:22 p.m., Fairfax County Police received a call that the bank had been robbed by a white male wearing a dark shirt and dark shorts.
"The suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money," according to Fairfax County Police. "The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash."

No one was injured in the incident. Kistler was arrested on Lorton Road just prior to Armistead Road and was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
"A lookout was broadcast, officers responded, made a perimeter and identified a suspect," said officer Don Gotthardt, a police spokesman. "They obviously picked up someone who was similar to that description."
