A 30-year-old Lorton woman was sexually assaulted in her home in the Fields at Lorton Station apartment complex on the morning of Saturday, July 16.
At around 6:00 a.m., the victim was awakened by a masked man in her bedroom. The suspect sexually assaulted her and fled the apartment. There were children in the apartment, but they were not hurt. The victim was not taken to the hospital.
The suspect forced his way into the home. He is described as a black male between six-feet and six-feet-three inches tall, with a dark complexion and muscular build. He wore a mask, a black shirt and black pants.
