Robbery at Pohick Bay Regional Park

Suspect entered gatehouse at park entrance

The Pohick Bay Regional Park gatehouse was robbed on Thursday, July 7. At around 5:30 p.m., an unidentified male approached the gatehouse on foot and entered. The 18-year-old park employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured, and it is not clear if the suspect had a weapon.  

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, five-foot-nine, 175-200 pounds, and wore a baseball cap, a white T-shirt and tan shorts. 

Police and canine officers searched for the suspect to no avail.
