Police: Forced Entry and Arrests in Fairfax Station and Lorton

Area crime events for the week preceding Feb. 1, as reported by the Fairfax County Police Department.

A Lorton woman is unhurt after reporting that a man forced his way into her home Saturday night and stole cash and other items.

At around 11 p.m., the 35-year-old victim was alone watching television in her home in the 7600 block of Wiley Drive, when there was a knock at the door. She answered, and the suspect allegedly pushed his way in. The victim reportedly left the home and called police.

  • An air bag was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Enochs Drive in Lorton. 
  • A cell phone was stolen from a business in the 7900 block of Timarand Court.

  • A 65-year-old Fairfax Station woman living in the 7400 block of Rocky Ravine Drive was arrested on Jan. 25 for assaulting a family member. 
  • A 21-year-old Lorton man living in the 9800 block of Hagel Circle was arrested on Jan. 28 for driving without a license. 
  • A 49-year-old Lorton woman living in the 7900 block of Cranford FarmCircle was arrested on Jan. 24 for assaulting a family member. An 18-year-old Lorton man living in the 7300 block of Rhondda Drive was arrested on Jan. 27 for reckless driving. 
  • A 23-year-old Lorton man living in the 7600 block of Wildwood Court was arrested for driving without a license. 
  • A 38-year-old Lorton man living in the 7900 block of Gunston Woods was arrested on Jan. 29 for distributing between a half-ounce to five pounds of marijuana. 
  • A 21-year-old Lorton man, also living in the 7900 block of Gunston Woods, was arrested on Jan. 30 for possession of marijuana.          
  • A 34-year-old Lorton woman living in the 9500 block of Shepherd Hill was arrested on Jan. 25 for owning an unlicensed dog.
