Police: Fairfax County Robberies Could Be Linked to Those in Prince William Co., Fredericksburg

Prince William County Police believe a series of robberies may be linked to crimes that occurred in Fairfax County and Fredericksburg.

Most of the Prince William County incidents happened in the Woodbridge area. 

The Fairfax County incidents are: 

Aug. 12 – 7-Eleven – 8146 Old Mount Vernon Rd. in Alexandria

Aug. 21– 7-Eleven – 2305 Huntington Ave. in Alexandria

Aug. 22–Attempted strong armed robbery of citizen –6300 Backlick Rd. in Springfield

Aug. 24, 2013-7-Eleven –7225 Old Keene Mill Rd. in Springfield

Here are the dates and locations in Prince William County:

Aug. 9, 7:12 p.m. –Sunoco Service Station –1260 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge

Aug. 12  2:20 p.m.-Shell Service Station –3186 River Heritage Boulevard in Dumfries

Aug. 21  9:09 p.m.-KFC – 1307 Devils Reach Rd. in Woodbridge 

Aug. 22, 1:07 p.m. – 7 Eleven –14820 Cloverdale Rd. in Woodbridge

Sept. 6, 2013, 2:18 p.m.– 7 Eleven – 12520 Gordon Blvd. in Woodbridge

The Fredericksburg incidents are:

Aug. 23, 2:50 p.m. – Shell Service Station –2301 Plank Rd. in Fredericksburg

Sept. 6, 12:30 p.m.-Handy Mart located –3054 Plank Rd in Fredericksburg
