Crime in Lorton

The police report for Lorton for the week of April 3 through April 10.

On April 3 a woman in he 9600 block of Hagel Circle reported that her son’s bike had been stolen from a playground. The next day, the bicycle was seen in a neighbor’s yard, except it had been painted white. The bicycle was returned without incident. The bicycle was subsequently stolen again and has not been returned.

In the 8400 block of Terminal Road on April 5, a woman’s vehicle was towed several blocks from her residence, which was not where she had last parked it. The vehicle was also damaged in the process of bring towed.

In the 9400 block of Lorton Market Street, a woman reported that her purse had been stolen from her shopping cart.

In the 9200 block of Lee Masey Court a bicycle was reported stolen from a garage.

In the 9500 block of Saluda Court four juveniles threw eggs at a store owner’s vehicle.

At the intersection of Cherwek Drive and Richmond Highway an individual report that mustard had been thrown on the vehicle’s front windshield.

In the 7700 block of Gunston Plaza drugs were discovered in the pocket of an individual during a consensual search.
