Photos: Car Accident on Lorton and Silverbrook Roads Monday Night
No one suffered life threatening injuries.
If you witnessed heavier than usual traffic on Lorton Rd. Monday evening, here's why: There was a car accident at the intersection of Silverbrook and Lorton Roads at around 7:30 p.m.
Both drivers were seen walking after the incident, and it appears that one of the vehicles - a Malibu LS - was t-boned and the driver's side door could not be opened.
The other vehicle was a dark-colored Honda Accord.
"The police and rescue workers pushed the accord out of the lane going towards Silverbrook so public could pass finally while the Malibu was stuck off to the side of the road on the street headed towards Ox," wrote Patch contributor Lori Craddock to Patch in an email.
