Man Stabbed in His Lorton Home, Police Search for the Attacker

A 37-year-old man was stabbed at his Lorton home, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. 

At about 4 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the 9500 block of Parsonage Lane for a reported stabbing. Police said that the homeowner found an unknown man in his garage. The stranger stabbed the homeowner and fled, police report.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated for injuries that were described as non-life threatening, according to police.

Helicopter and K-9 units assisted in the search for the man responsible who has not been located. The attacker was described as a man in his late teens who was 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He wore a green sweatshirt and a blue undershirt.
