Lorton 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

Cash was taken from the Gunston Corner Lane 7-Eleven in the incident.

An armed man robbed the  in Lorton in the early morning hours on Monday.

At 3:34 a.m. on Aug. 13, a 34-year-old employee called police and reported the robbery. No one was injured.  

A black male took an undisclosed amount of cash. Except for the clothing he was wearing at 7-Eleven, police reported the suspect's height or any other defining characteristics are "unknown" at this time, according to an email to Patch from Fairfax County Police. 

It is also not known whether the suspect fled in a car or on foot.
