Lorton Man Wanted in Attempted Dale City Burglary

The following information comes from Prince William County police department. Where charges and arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Lorton man is wanted following an alleged burglary in the 13800 block of Meadowbrook Road in Dale City Sunday. Two Woodbridge-area men were arrested in conjunction with the incident. 

According to Prince William County Police reports, a 22-year-old Woodbridge man said that he answered the door after hearing a knock and saw two known acquaintances.

While talking with the two known acquaintances – identified as Antonio Town, 19, and Resean Harper, 18, – a third masked male forced all men into the residence.

Police reports said the masked man was identified as Christopher Torrence, 21 of Lorton. Allegedly, Torrence displayed a handgun and hit the victim in the back of the head. Minor injuries were reported.

Torrence, Harper and Town allegedly fled on foot after the occupant of the house called police. After an extensive investigation, Harper and Town were determined to be involved in the incident and were arrested. Police have obtained warrants against Torrence.

Police said this incident is not a random act and was targeted towards the victim. 

Town and Harper face charges of burglary while armed, conspiracy to commit to a felony, malicious wounding, attempted robbery and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Their court dates were unavailable but they were held without bond.

Torrence is described as a black male, 6-foot-1, 150 pounds, with long black dreadlocks and numerous tattoos. He faces charges of burglary while armed, conspiracy to commit a felony, malicious wounding, attempted robbery and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
