An 18-year-old Lorton woman reported that she was groped while walking on Monday evening, June 24, 2013. The woman was walking in the 9500 block of Richmond Highway and said that at around 10:00 p.m. that someone touched her buttocks and ran away. The woman was not injured.

In other Lorton crime news, a 22-year-old Lorton woman reported someone peeping into her home. The woman, who lives in the 9200 block of Edgemar Woods Court, told police that at around 9:00 a.m. June 25, she screamed and the suspect fled. No suspect description was available.
The week of June 24, 2013 also included some thefts.
- Purses were stolen from a vehicle in the 9900 block of East Hill Dr. in Lorton.
- Bicycles were stolen from a residence in the 8900 block of Birch Bay Circle in Lorton.
- Detergent was stolen from a Lorton business in the 8900 block of Ox Road.
- A 1999 Mazda Protege was stolen from the 8700 block of Kanawha Court.
