National Public Lands Day at Mason Neck State Park

Special events at Mason Neck State Park this Saturday for National Public Lands Day. 

Join us at 10:00am for a hike down Eagle Spur Trail.  Meet up at the Visitor Center and please wear closed-toed shoes and bring plenty of water for this intermediate level hike. 

At 1:00pm join a ranger out on our Bay View Trail.  A ranger will be out at the Observation Blind on the Bay View Trail for 1 hour.  Stop by and check out some of the wildlife out in the freshwater marsh. 

Join us at 4:00pm for the Grand Opening of our new Meadow View Trail!  The new trail is located half-way down the Dogue Trail and is 1.3 miles long leading you through the forest out to a wildlife observation blind overlooking a meadow.  This trail is moderate in difficulty.  Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring plenty of water.  Be one of the first people to hike this new trail!
