National Trails Day

Saturday June 4 is National Trails Day, and our project should be
fulfilling, as we tie the new hiking-biking trail (named the South Branch Loop in the West Parcel into the trailhead at Old Colchester Road.  The work will consist of raking, cutting roots, and relandscaping the trail that's been rough cut by our trail building machine.   The terrian we're in is very gentle, so the work should go fast.
Come to the trailhead at 10207 Old Colchester Road between 8:30 and 9 am to start. Wear work boots or sturdy closed toe footwear, and outdoor work clothes, and bring your own water bottle.  We will provide work gloves, bug spray, tools, snacks, water for your water bottle, and lunch.  We also have a bunch of the 2011 National trails Day T-shirts, which are pretty nice this year, and a whole box of National Trails Day outdoor equipment and doodads to raffle off.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
