Kids Community Day to Help Sandy Victims

Kids Sending Smiles Community Day to Assist Hurricane Sandy Victims

Kids Sending Smiles, a non-profit organization created and
run by elementary school kids, organized a community event to provide direct support to people displaced by Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey and New York.   Kids Sending Smiles will be raking leaves in the Landsdowne Community to support local food pantries in the hardest hit areas of New Jersey and New York.  We will also have a bake sale and a table set up where children can draw pictures and write letters to hurricane victims. These pictures will be displayed at the community soup kitchens that are working to provide meals to those in need.  All donations received will go to the Ocean County Hunger Relief in Toms River, NJ, the Food Bank of South Jersey in Pennsauken, NJ and Project Hospitality in Staten Island, NY. All donations are tax deductible.
