Lorton Crime: Woman Bitten By An Unlicensed Pitbull Terrier Mix

Here's the listing of Lorton crime events for the week preceding July 3, 2014 - courtesy of the Fairfax County Police Department. 

A 19-year-old woman was allegedly bitten by a dog in the 9800 block of hagel Circle. The woman was walking and was surprised by the runaway Pit Bull Terrier mix, which was attached to its leash. The woman received a "minor injury", and the dog was routinely quarantined, according to Fairfax County Police. 

Margie Toney, 50, of Lorton, was charged with owning an unvaccinated, unlicensed dog and not having a current vaccination for the dog.

A television was stolen from a residence in the 10600 block of Old Colchester Rd.

A 2007 Chevy Tahoe was stolen from the 8900 block of Lorton Station Blvd.
