Lorton Rainfall Oct 15-21
Daily rainfall totals for previous 24 hours measured at 6am from my rain gauge in Lorton.
The Climate Prediction Center last week updated its seasonal forecasts for winter (December 2012 and January - February 2013). The key sentence in the discussion was that “The latest observations and model predictions emphasize the large amount of uncertainty associated with the surface temperature and precipitation outlooks for the United States during this upcoming winter season.” The accompanying graphics show even chances for warmer or cooler weather, as well as wet or dry for our mid-Atlantic region. Be ready for anything, I guess!
