What season do we get the most precipitation in? Across DC the answer is Spring, and specifically May, though if you include Baltimore July and September just edge out May, probably due to thunderstorms and hurricanes. In Lorton in the first week of May, we typically get 0.88” of rain in a week. This past week we got a little less than that, but the upcoming week looks to be normal again in terms of precipitation.
