On the second Saturday of each month, the Workhouse galleries and studios keep their doors open late and hold campus-wide receptions for the month’s featured artists and exhibitions. Guests are welcome to tour all seven unique studio buildings, home to artists of all mediums and artistic styles. The studio artists and associated artists will be on site to mix and mingle with visitors, to speak about their process and work, as well as give demonstrations on their techniques. Light refreshments and music will complete the evening, making it a great destination for a date night or girls’ night out, as well for art collectors and art appreciation groups alike. The 2nd Saturday Art Walk is also perfect for family outings.

Studio 4 at the Workhouse will be hosting a Halloween party, Masks and Mayhem, which will exhibit a unique collection of hand-painted masks and quirky, thought provoking “altars” created by the artists of Studio 4. They will also be hosting a costume/mask competition, with artistic prizes for a variety of categories ranging from goofy to scary.

Bring your friends, family and dates out to the Workhouse this Saturday for a night of food, fun, and most importantly, art!
