The Workhouse Arts Center is pleased to announce, the opening of "Gallery 902" in Building W-9 on the Workhouse Campus.
The Workhouse Arts Center is pleased to announce, the opening of “Gallery 902” in Building W-9 on the Workhouse Campus. “Gallery 902” is the new home of the Workhouse Associate Artists program, a unique group of approximately 35 artists, individually selected via a portfolio review. A grand opening and reception will be held during 2nd Saturday Art Walk, on March 9, 6 – 9pm. Each month, a new exhibition of works created by the Associate Artists will be hung in the new space.
The Workhouse Associate Artist program is an incubator program providing individual artists an opportunity for exposure, business growth and gained artistic knowledge through an exhibition space and educational programming, shared amongst a community of likeminded colleagues.

The new space marks the first time Associate Artists will have a location in a Studio Building, while maintaining solo exhibitions for their monthly featured artists in the Vulcan Gallery. Future emphasis on the Associate Artists Program will be on educational programs, and volunteerism within the artist community at the Workhouse.
