The Workhouse Celebrates Summer with Art, Music, Laughs, Family Fun and Fireworks!

There is something for everyone this summer at the Workhouse!

The Workhouse Arts Center abounds with fun all summer long!  Kick off summer with our free Mount Vernon Nights Concert Series every Saturday night at 7pm from June-August.

Stroll our open artist studios, enjoy receptions and artist talks every 2nd Saturday at our monthly Art Walk.  View art exhibitions such as Urban Decay 4, 360 degrees of Post-Traumatic Stress and 3rd Annual Clay National, to name a few.  You won’t want to miss the Urban Decay 4 opening reception on June 8, featuring hip hop dancer Kenny Wells, the DJ Expansion Broadcast and local band Lightspeed Rescue.

Celebrate arts in our community at Summer Art Party on the Quad, as the Workhouse brings the community together with visual and performing arts, history, fitness and summer fun at this FREE event on June 22, 2013 from 11am-3pm.
