An evening you won't want to miss! On Saturday, October 20, 2012 the Workhouse Arts Center will host the 2nd Annual Workhouse Arts Gala.

On Saturday, October 20, 2012 the Workhouse Arts Center will host the 2nd Annual Workhouse Arts Gala, featuring a gourmet dinner and dancing to The Johnny Artis Band

Dr. Alan G. Merten, President Emeritus of George Mason University, is the Honorary Chairman of the event.  Paul Berry, former ABC-7 (WJLA-TV) personality, will be the Master of Ceremonies.  Supervisor Gerry Hyland (Mount Vernon District) will be awarded the Founders Award for his steadfast support of the Lorton Arts Foundation and the Workhouse Arts Center.

The elegant evening begins at 6:30pm with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, dessert and dancing.  A special live auction will feature a NASCAR experience hosted by a Sprint Cup team owner and a one-year E-Z Pass for the I-495 Hot Lanes. The silent auction will feature art work produced at the Workhouse and other unique and special gifts.
