Want to celebrate the end of Ramadan in style? Lorton's Lasani Kabob Restaurant, at 8998b Lorton Station Blvd., is hosting the second annual "Chand Raat Eid Festival" on Aug. 7 in the Lorton VRE parking lot.
"Stop on by!" said Gabriella Nunez, secretary of the Lorton Station Merchants Association, which is also sponsoring the event. "We're going to have live music, a moonbounce for the kids, food and more."
August marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. During that time, millions of Muslims around the world have abstained from eating during the day.
