Photos of the Day: Holly, Woods and Vines along Richmond Highway

Kissing fairies, bird baths and all the plants you need

How's your garden these days? Patch visited along Richmond Highway today, and found staff at the five-acre garden center prepping for the spring.

"The whole place is going to be covered in annuals, perennials, tropicals, herbs, vegetables, trees and shrubs and then some," said manager Jim Luby.

Have you been to the shop? The plants in each greenhouse are accentuated by statues, bird baths and wind chimes - all for sale, of course. There are sections for nearly every kind of garden enthusiast, including Asian-inspired evergreens pruned with ancient techniques.
